Mourning, honoring the loss of my best friend…

SHERRI TAYLOR  1953 – 2015

I am beyond words and sadness at the loss of my best friend from 5th grade. Robin was artistic, intelligent, and knew me in a way that no one else could. The world will never be the same as I go forward. Peace to my dearest friend.

Sherri Robin Taylor of Cohasset came into this world on May 3, 1953, and passed from this earth into the arms of our Heavenly Father on April 13, 2015, after a courageous 2 ½ year battle with cancer. She was 61 years old. Sherri was born in Butte, Montana, spent much of her youth growing up in Lakeview, Oregon, then her family settled in Redding. She moved with her husband Ron Hartt to Cohasset six years ago. She leaves behind her devoted husband Ron; her parents, Fred and Beme Taylor of Redding; two sisters, Terri (Rick) of Utah, and Jodi (Ron) of Redding; stepchildren John and Sarah; many nieces and nephews; and her fur kitty babies. Sherri worked as an RN for skilled nursing facilities throughout the Redding area as an Intake Coordinator, a position she developed and perfected for many years. As a nurse, she was a comfort to many patients she cared for over the years. Her bright, shining, and mischievous smile will be missed by her family and many, many friends. She is now with her best friend, Jesus and her beloved Grandmother, enjoying all of the beautiful new sights in heaven. At Sherri’s request there will be no services. Sherri wanted everyone she loved to remember her love of life, and to hold on to the good memories. She will be missed dearly and forever in our hearts.
